Hi,
here we go ! Week (I think 2!) I'm really was so exciting to do my best this week , but I did just about (8) hours ! , Yes I know It's not my best,But I think It's such a great amount of rime If you know that I studied for 3 days ... Anki Idid about 228 cards , I'm always doing Anki in about 20 minutes at the beginning of the day.(100 minutes) EE (effortless English) I did two lessons from this pods , I think It's great because I read it then listening to its mp3 , and finally add all new vocabulary to Anki , and one more thing , I try to reading it aloud! (110 minutes) A course about TOEFL It's the hard book I have ever seen ! It have a very hard vocabulary in different fields (Biology , Archaeology , Botany , ...etc.) , I try to do my best, But , I'm just moving through it VERY slow ! (180 minutes) English Discoveries (Grammar) It's FUN! , to do some grammar , (I'm think I speaking like that 'coz I'm at very beginning of the CDs , Just CD1) (55 minutes) Vampire Diaries (the Novel - Part 1) I still think that this novel is very exciting one , I wish It has an Arabic translation , but I can understand most of what I'm read , I'll also try to read Twilight (which has an Arabic translation) soon! I'm in the middle of chapter 6! (25 minutes) I'll try to add Greek language at the next week ! , I'm very exciting to study it! It's been along time from my last post here!
I'm back ! and I'm very excited to resume my study, I know that I'm the worst teammate ever! But let's hope that I can do something Important ,but I saw my all teammates want to join others teams, so no problem, maybe I'll change my log to individual challenge, and I wish the best of luck to all of 'em! My materials for the next 6 months! American English File It's a great course, It has a lot of books in one book 'coz It's covers Vocabulary, Conversations, Grammar, Writing and Pronunciation, so I think It's a great series to deal with , I wish If I could finish all the four books, But let's hope at least to finish 2 of 'em! EnglishPod It's very interesting podcasts 'coz It has very real conversations and real situations, I'll try to listen to one pod everyday and add all the new vocabulary to Anki! Vampire Diaries (the novel) I'm really want to continue reading it, but I think I need some rest of all its vocabulary, I'll try to do my best in the next three months to re-reading it, but this time with more confidence in my level of knowing vocabulary! TV Series I'm still watching a lot of TV, Especially, Romantic one (e.g. Gossip Girl), I think I got bored from all science fiction thing!, I'll try to watch every episode in English subtitle! Taking classes I'm planning to take some classes in the next weeks!, not just for studying but also to keep me motivated(the test thing at end of every level and all these things!) Wish me good luck! My Study from 14Jul-16Jul
American English File 1/a, 1/b, 1/c (6 hours) I still like this book, I think It's very interesting method to learn language, I wish I've started it from long time, but the worst thing about it that It's need a lot of time to cover every lesson! EnglishPod 2 pods (2 hours) That's my Assimil for English, I did Assimil method for it, and everything's fine till now! Twilight first chapter ( 30 minutes) I love this novel and I preferred it over VD 'coz It has Arabic translation, the first chapter was great! TV Series 11 episodes of GG (40 minutes for each episode) GG's lover! Total study hours for those 3 days: 8 hours 30 minutes I think I did -at someway- great result in these three days, Maybe 'coz I'm so excited to comeback to study, and after all I LOVE English language and I'll be :) Edited by Just a Dreamer on 17 July 2011 at 2:02pm 1 person has voted this message useful | |

English 1 lesson from Englishpod Watching 2 episodes from Futurama and another from SmallVille German 1 lesson from Germanpod watching DW for 30 minutes Italian 1 lesson from Assimil I think this was a good day I just want to reduce my time when I try to memorize the English Idioms, for Italian the lesson was so easy.. this my first day with this new schedule so, wish me good luck ! 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Hi! I want you to know that I read your log regularly and liked your style of learning! About American English File, I think this book is somehow boring, I gave up from it after finishing 3 lessons, Effortless English with Englishpod will be a great combo, but there still be some gaps of grammar, so the solution is English Discoveries, this program is very useful for both, Grammar and Vocabulary.. I'm also using Vampire Diaries for L-R method (though there are no Arabic translation!), but the vocab are really understandable and It's very exciting novel and I can say It's better than Twilight(I can't finish two chapters from it!), maybe It's just me... 1 person has voted this message useful | |
