While I said I would spend most of my time listening to German, I keep losing track of
time with French (oops). Spent a few hours straight on French, an hour or so listening
to German and a while listening to Russian lessons. The rest of the night was spent
with my iPod on shuffle, and listening through random lessons.
I have now listened through the MT French 1-3 twice, I think, but I will listen through
again this weekend so I can fully devote my attention to taking in the lesson.
At this stage in German, I am up to some random point in the MT advanced course (I'm
not entirely sure where).
I have decided I am content to take the Russian slowly, as I realise it is a fairly
large undertaking. Whilst listening tonight, I was quite easily able to recall and
produce many of the words and phrases found in the first few lessons. If I can continue
to go through the lessons at this rate, I'll be somewhat happy with the learning speed.
It is somewhat handy having both the MT course and the podcasts, too, as they reinforce
the ideas that each of the others introduce in many situations.
Hopefully this weekend I can get a bunch of study done and make my first attempt at
writing in French!

It's been a few days, but, unfortunately the weekend didn't entirely go to plan. (Not
just language endeavour related.)
Due to that, I had to push the review back to last night. This isn't entirely bad, as
it gave me a few days to absorb everything. However, I would have liked to be a few
hours better off at this point in time.
Monday was spent mostly with my iPod on random, flicking through and listening to
random MT lessons, seeing what still stuck.
Last night was a little more structured, spending the first 4 hours reviewing MT
Advanced course. For some reason my old iPod shuffle with no display screwed up the
playlist, so it wasn't entirely sequential, but it wasn't too bad. The next 2 hours or
so were spent reviewing the French course. Another hour or so was spent reviewing the
Russian course, and the rest was spent with the random setting on.
Hopefully, tonight I'll finish most of the Advanced German course, finish reviewing the
French, and commit some Russian vocab to memory.

It's been a while - University really sucks life away. Now, I'm planning on going
through and review all study I've previously done in German and French. Since those 2
languages are my main priority, but there are still so many other languages I'd like to
learn, I might set up a rotation schedule for the others, so I can slowly familiarise
myself with the languages until I am ready to start learning them for real. I also have
a new German learning plan, which I wrote about at fi3m, and pasted below.
gemacht.
