I am at A2.1 level in German. I'll start an A2 course at university this year and although I should progress
to the B1 level course next year after that, I would like to join the Advanced German 1 class.
I had a look at the module and it's to prepare students for their year abroad in German and studies at
German universities. From this I assume it's at B2 level. It's quite a translation based course. I really enjoy
translation and would love to be able to do this course
I should complete A2 level by the end of this year at university and would like to move on the B2 course
next year.
I love Living German- A grammar based course and have finished half the book. I guess this book covers
grammar up to B1. Should I use TY German? I've had a look at it and didn't like it to be honest.
Are they any other books that anyone could suggest? Please don't suggest Assimil- I can't afford it at the
moment.
I've started reading German books with audio, not the easiest of tasks at my level but worth the effort I
guess.
I need to have reading knowledge for my masters in Philology and I have two years to work on this. Please
suggest some books or methods that may help me so that I do the advanced course at university next year.
