Okay I wanted to do this for quite some time!
So here it is my First log :)! YAY!
Thanks to 6WC ,I found the inspiration to do it .
Today I finished 2 lessons of assimil , I am in the 75 lesson now .
And I have watched two episodes of each , Big bang theory and how I met your mother .
Going to watch friends in some time now !

I have also finished the first CD of Paul noble Spanish!
Wow I haven't done so much in last one month:P

Today was a really unlucky day for me ,
actually the last one month has been:P

so i couldn't do much today,
read assimil for one hour on the train,
saw a movie when i got back ! the mighty ducks:)
and a episode of friends .

and now i going to do assimil again ,may be revise .
and then listen to paul noble for sometime.

listening to paul noble makes me think that i am betraying MT .
but i think ill switch back to mt after this

good night

I guess I dint log yesterday,
I am still doing assimil , I am in the 79th lesson now . I focused all my energy in to
listening ,
And it is already reaping benefits for me . I first listen to the audio in assimil .
now I can actually pick out the new words which I haven’t heard before and guess the
meaning based on the context .
I am learning a lot of new words a day . everybody tells me anki is the only way to
revise .
I still haven’t used anki but I should start loading all the assimil words ,which is a
mountain climb

My plan is
1.finish assimil and revise twice
2.all episodes in pukka German ,which gives the local slang
3.friends,how I met your mother and big bang theory
4.finally read novels(teango's study and click method):)

I like friends because there is variety of conversation and its my all time favorite 

@stephen danke :)
but i draw my inspiration from people like you who has done it and shows the way :)
how long did you take to learn the language?

pukkagerman is definitely good , Germans use a lot of metaphors and i think
pukkagerman will get you across with that :)

5- august

yesterday was a interesting day for me !
my friend introduced me to community called couchsurfing.org
its forum for travelling mainly but also they have people who are interested to learn
languages.
so i met lot of people there and spent close to 6 hours speaking German and cheap ways
to travel around europe.

i did assimil ,its now or never that i have to use the anki ,
because i fear ill forgot the words :(.

anyway news on my Spanish !
i am dropping paul noble after one cd .
because the constant thought of betraying MT pops up ,:P
after all he together with assimil has thought me everything i know today in German:)

see later in the evening :)
tschuss

Hey, best of luck on your German journey! I'm not a native speaker, but I've been studying the language for several years now, so if you have any questions I'd be glad to help. P.S. Is your native language really English?

is my English really that bad?:P
well my mother tongue is tamil-telgu
but i have been bought up in a anglo indian community where they speak only English!
however recently my written English sucks because i tend to miss out on the odd(the,at
by).
believe it or not !i even consulted the doctor ! he said my mind works faster than my
hands:P

Haha, no offense intended, you write English just fine, but for some reason it did make me suspect you were a bilingual. Tamil is an awesome language, I would love to learn it someday. :) Don't worry, you're not alone - a lot of other native English speakers have the same problem of "the mind working faster than the hands"! ;)

By the way, where in Germany are you living? I'm hoping to move to Leipzig in a couple of weeks. I love Germany. :)
