Hello,
To complete my 6WJ (it isn't a challenge) I will walk by two different "paths" at the
same time.
The English journey is (probably) the easier. I have good skills in passive knowledge
of this language (listening and reading), thanks 18 years watching American movies and
series. But, however, I don't use to write or even speak it.
I think that my speaking skill isn't bad as I could imagine. My last experiences with
native speakers were quite good, since I spoke about several topics without problems
with them.
To improve my L2, I'm planning:
Write in English almost every day (that's the main reason of this log)
Watch American series (I do this already)
Use the Ivester's columns method (see more in his log) to improve my vocabulary,
focusing in the phrasal verbs.
Do something to lose my accent (I don't know yet, suggestions?)
Please, I ask you to correct my English mistakes, if possible, including confusing
phrases. I'm not accustomed to use this language to express my ideas, so these kinds of
errors are expected.
The French journey will be based in a wider approach than the English one. I will use
the Ivester's method to get new vocabulary, read several articles and newspapers in
this language and do all Pimsleur's lessons.
PLAN:
Do at least 1 pimsleur lesson per day. Try to do 2 lessons some days, because maybe I
won't be able to listen it every day.
Learn at least 150 French words per day(non Portuguese-related).
Read some news in French.
GOAL:
Get basic fluency in this language.
I will update my progress every day.
Any questions, tips, suggestions and/or corrections?
Thanks,

1st day update:
Some unsolved affairs prevented me from complete the whole plan for yesterday.
I'm going to compensate it today.
But, anyway:
101 french words.
GOALS for the 2nd day:
Watch something in English
Learn 150 french words
Learn 30 English phrasal verbs
Read something in French.
