Which twosyllable words ending in -i change that -i into -e when declined into other forms? For example the plural of risti is ristit, while the plural of ovi is ovet.

I was reading in an old Finnish grammar I have, and it seems that for the most part the words will change to an E stem (especially in plurals). There seem to be fewer that remain I stems.
I could write out the explanation that I found (it's a few paragraphs long), but it doesn't answer the question as you asked it. I assume you want a list.

I would prefer a set of rules.
I have took a look at some words that keep the -i vowel and I've left with the impression that most of them are foreign words.
