Just found this website recently. Looks like a good resource for Russian learners.

Yeah, that one's pretty good.
russianlessons.net is where I got my basic standing in Russian during the first three months of my study.
practicerussian.com has quite a few good resources as well.
listsen2russian is neat as well.

Thank you for the links! I just bought Living Language Ultimate Russian (Beginner/Intermediate) for $10! (Thank you gift car) I'm planning on starting this course after I finish "Russo Sin esfuerzo" from Assimil. Oh! and Assimil just came out with a new Russian book (but only in French), With 100 lessons instead of 70. I'm going to buy this one but won't touch it until my French is just a little higher; or I could cross my fingers and hope for a Spanish/English base (unlikely for a while).
My upon finishing all three french assimil books I'm very tempted to try the assimil method in other languages with only french bases.

Finished first week of Pimsleur 3, and bought Living Languages Ultimate Russian: Beginner-Intermidiate to go through after I finish Penguin/Assimil in about six months. Thank you Gift car! I pick up the set for $10 :) I flipped through the book and it looks very comprehensive.
I'm listening to the BBC radio in Russian now Mon-Fri in the mornings. After lunch I switch back to French (RFI/RCI) for the rest of the day.

Quick update 1/2 through Pimsleur Russian 3, Started FSI FAST lesson 1 (went through the first audio track a couple of times), so Iḿ starting to get the hang of Cyrillic (definitely not that bad). Doing a lot of passive listening. Now that I´m starting to understand Cyrillic, I started going over the Pimsleur transcripts for the older lesson I've done.

FSI fast is really good. I got Pimsleur to "break in" my brain as you so nicely put it but I just end up wasting $120 so I've learned my lesson. NO MORE PIMSLEUR :). There is not Assimil Russian for English speakers that isn't out of print or anything so I can't use Assimil. Luck you, you speak Spanish. I congratulate you and encourage you in your Russian studies and I couldn't help but peek at your log as I am learning Russian as well :D!

Just a Quick update. This semester has been brutal, not going at my old pace. Not to
mention I gave myself a semi language break during winter break. That being said since my
last update I've done the following:
1)RussianPod101 Newbie series, Survival Series, Beginner Series Season 1 and half of
Season 2
2) Michel Thomas Advanced the three first CD's
3) The first 15 Lessons of Assimil
4) I can now read Cyrillic, learning how to write now.
So not too bad considering I got somewhat lazy.

Latinoboy, I have a .pdf of Russian without Toil (1951) if you'd like. You'd have to get the audio for it though.
