I am now dedicating one hour every Sunday to Listening-Reading native materials. Finished Tape 5 Unit 4 French Basic 1, just did lesson 35 of Using French, Went through
all 25 FrenchPod101 intermediate mp3's in a row (now I will listen to one Lesson a day
three times a day for the next month).

The intermediate series isn't difficult, but it is incredibly rich with with idioms and
expressions. I will probably listen to all the sub-Saharan FSI FAST course after the
FrenchPod101 lessons. I should really go back to coffee break French as well, just
because they do their grammar sections so well.

I would like to take the French CLEP in January. Ideally I am aiming for a near
perfect score (80). A score of 59 is the equivalent of two years of university study,
I'm just using the exam to measure my ability and see if I could place write into a 3rd
year French composition/conversation course.

episodes a week....I started going through the intermediate and advanced FrenchPod.com

Update Long overdue but the semester is killing me. MBA program is so time consuming.

Anyways, went through all the FrenchPod.com Intermediate lessons and working my way
through the upper-intermediate now. Watched the first dozen episodes of FIA. Doing L/R
regularly (at least a couple of times a week for 1/2). Joined the Alliance Francaise :)

Well the semester is almost over so I am studying for finals, but started reviewing Using
French so I pick up where I left off and wrap it up over winter break. MP3s and
FrenchPod have been a blessing to help me keep learning during the study period (in the
gym, in line, while driving etc). I plan on taking the DALF C1 exam next year.

2/3 done with Using French, read Le Petit Prince, and started TYS: Improve your French.
Finished all the Advanced and upper intermediate FrenchPod podcasts, and simultaneously
working my way through unit 5 in FSI.

Bonne chance avec l'étude tu français!!

You can PM me whenever you have problems !! I'll be glad to help!!

According what you said about your "educational" background, it oesnt seem to me you're starting from scratch, hey?? :D :D

Even if your french is a litlle bit rusty, you still got this passive knoledge no beginner has in the beginning of a language course !!

How about your pronunciation? I'd like to know how you work on it??

Bon courage pour la suite !!!
