Maybe I can try again next year. My Dad was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumor. Surgery
is on Tuesday. I will have even less time for the foreseeable future.

Just edit the first post of the log and it should allow you to change the title.

Sorry to hear about your dad - sending you both my very best wishes this year! I'm thinking of seriously going for Japanese in next year's TAC, so I look forward to sharing more notes later on, and as a bit of a martial arts dabbler in the past, am always keen to hear more about your experiences with iaido and aikijujutsu.
