If I may, I think you mean 'kuandika' instead of 'kuchora'. Andika = write, chora = draw.

Like ellasevia, I used to be at a pretty good intermediate level and have since gotten rusty, though nothing a few hours with a Swahili book can’t fix. Have you come across this website (http://en.childrenslibrary.org/) in your studies? It lets you read children’s books in a variety of different languages, including Swahili; it’s been really useful for whenever I feel like reading something fun (Haiba and the Seven Dwarves, for example, is AWESOME).
