Hi there everyone!

I have decided to start a log as I try to learn langugaes. I think firstly I will give you a brief background about myself, and then why I have chosen to study these languages.

Firstly, I am a student in the United Kingdom, and I would like to study languages at University. I will be studying French as an "A level" at school soon, and to improve the liklihood that I will get into a University, I am studying other languages to show my interest for the subject.

I hope to study Russian as one of my languages at University, because I think that the history and culture, as well as the language is very interesting. I am also very interested in other countries where Russian is spoken, for example Estonia.

I have chosen to study Greek as it is again a language that is very interesting for me. I will, I pray, be visiting Cyprus soon, and I would love to be able to converse with the locals in some way. One other reason is that I would maybe one day like to learn Biblical Greek, as I am a Catholic.

I like all these languages, and I would really love it if any native or nativelike speakers would be able to correct what I write in the languages. I will be posting what I do to practice my skills, and I would also love to assist anybody who is looking to learn English, or improve their knowledge fo the language.

Thank you!

I think that I should mention what level I am at with my each language.

French - I think that at the moment I am around B1 level, and I am hoping to push for B2/C1. I have lots of materials to use for home study, and will be taking a 2 year A level course at school soon.

Greek - Currently I am more or less a beginner in Greek, I can say a few sentances and words and have so far been able to learn most of the alphabet. I would like to push for the A2 level before University

Russian - This is more or less the same as Greek. I can say a few things, but I will be pushing for at least the A2 level before University.

Study today

Today I reviewed two sets of anki decks for French. I have doing this for a little while so I know some words already, and today I could understand most words on one deck. The other one has not really been reviewed much before, so that needs some more work.
