Hello all. I have a simple, but so far unanswered, question:
In MSA, is فجأة "all of a sudden" pronounced faja'a or faja'atan? I know it's an adverb, but I haven't yet seen it written with a double fatha, so I'm unsure.
Thanks for any help!
Greg

AFAIK فجأة (root: ف ج أ) is pronounced faj'atan in MSA.

It can be said either way. In MSA faja'atan is the one you'll hear. Faja'a is dialect.
