Okay, so I plan to study Esperanto regularly this summer. I was studying this Spring (March, mostly) but I really have no time now, and I'm about to start doing Spanish after school and on weekends.
I find it hard to study Esperanto because its hard to find a good, affordable course for the language.
I have Richardsons book, "Esperanto: Learning and Using the International Language" I'm taking the 10-lesson postal course offered by E-USA, I downloaded Kurso de Esperanto and I am a member of Lernu.net as well as Esperanto-usa.org. All of these are helpful in their own right but none of them are really "complete" and to be frank, many of them seem to be all based on the same concept of "present the student with lots of Random vocab/half the words for this theme and then occassional grammar"
I'm going to use this thread to try and assemble several resources on Esperanto and then to lay out a clear and concise and hopefully very useful and competent learning map for myself and other learners of Esperanto who dont know where to start.
It's not so much a problem of not having resources but a problem knowing where to start, when you've reached "the middle" and where exactly the end lies and realistically how you can expect to get there in a reasonable amount of time.
