In Boston MA there is a language school that does 4-6 weeks of hardcore full time study,
that is said to be the equivalent to 2 and half college courses.

Ehhh... I'm from Boston and I've heard nothing but bad reviews for the Boston Language Institute.
On a side note: There's a guy in Cambridge who teaches multiple languages simultaneously to his students. He
claims to speak over 70 languages fluently. I can't see how that is possible. Here's the link:

The school offering the courses is actually New York University, which is a private institution. The state system is called the State University of New York.
