I thought it might be interesting to post various readings in ancient languages, scripture, poems, prayers etc. (e.g., the Bible in Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, the Quran in Arabic, Homer in Greek, Virgil in Latin, etc.).

Here is a reading I just did of Genesis 1:1-5 in Hebrew, the original language, and in Koine Greek, from the 4th Century BC Septuagint or LXX, which was widely in use at the time of the New Testament writing and is directly quoted therein several times:
