Have you seen the film called "About a boy" with Hugh Grant? There is a scene there which is priceless.
He is visiting some friends who have children, and the less than tactful woman says something in the
vicinity of "I see how you must feel how empty and meaningless your life is when you see us and our lovely
children." And all around them the children are screaming, hitting eachother and there is a mess and dirty
diapers everywhere and the woman looks like she has not slept for a week. The man just looks around him
and goes " Yes, quite". I laughed so hard I almost fell off the chair. I love my children, and could not
imagine my life without them, but there are days where I would give my left arm just to go home and relax
and have no demands from anyone.
I loved my days as single, so again: Cherish them. Learning languages as a mother really does become so
much more complicated.

I have seen that movie, but I don't remember that particular scene. I might have to watch it again (if I can find it in Russian!) =D

No offence meant to all the women who strive to maintain a reasonable house/work/hobby balance, but it's also complicated as a father!

Thanks for posting this. I've been away for quite a long time, really busy with my
studies. But I enjoy networking a little bit via Skype ;-)
Hear you soon!
