Hi all,
This guy is often talked about as being a polyglot and language expert in the French media, but I cannot find any videos of him speaking anything but French.
Does anyone have any links?

Here's a link of him speaking in Spanish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHB__20fUxw
Here's another interview (voiced over in English) where near the end he gives the title of his book in a few languages, so you can at least hear a very small sample of him speaking a few others. I got the impression from this interview that he resents English and even hesitated to speak English when asked, even though he gave the title of his book in the other languages without hesitation.

The man is not a "you tube polyglot" but rather a scholar with many publications on a wide variety of languages. Why do you expect him to have clips in various tongues for your enjoyment? Why don't you expect youtube polyglots to have books for you to read and learn from? When youtube polyglots speak in foreign languages, they can provide both inspiration and a benchmark of what can be achieved. They can also get feedback for their own improvement. Some of them even provide valuable teaching and lessons. However, I think many of them just do it for the show, that is, to show their stuff and to provide entertainment at the same time. All of this has its place, but I think it is wrong to expect that a scholarly polyglot must participate in the show.
