Hard to choose only one from the tons of Hindi songs out there, but for now I'll go with
Mora Piya.

Hard to pick, but this Italian song is simply amazing.
Perturbazione - Agosto, hands down.

For me, Sapore di Sale by Gino Paoli. A classic!

Swedish: Horgalåten, here sung by Helen Sjöholm, actually a folk song and it exists with differnt lyrics, this here is lyrics-wise not the most exiting one, but my absolutely favourite musical arrangement of it.

Hungarian: Bródy János: Ha én rózsa volnék(a classic and a wonderful song, not just for teaching the conjunctive)

Italian: Nek: Laura non c'è

French: Juliette Noureddine et Guillaume Depardieu: [/URL]La lettre oubliée(because it's a song that breaks my heart every single time)

German (more towards Austrian German that is): Pirron und Knapp: Blitzo

Right now I cannot think of anything in Czech or Spanish, maybe I'll add something later.

Languages I never studied but still can't refrain from sharing songs in them, that would want to make me study the language:

Finnish: Loituma: Ievan polkka
Faroese:Tyr: Ormurin langi
Icelandic: Krummi(I guess a traditional song as well ...)
Serbian: Marija Šerifović: Molitva(which won the Eurovision Soncontest in 2007, as the Soncontest is always a source for songs in languages I never thought of learning and then ....)

That's all I can think of right now ... (and 5 Minutes after finishing this post I had to edit because I remembered that I absolutly forgot "Molitva" and edited for user-friendliness too)

This is one of my favorite Latvian songs and it’s very suitable for language learning. It’s an example of the underground music of the 80s, an interesting time that one felt nostalgic for almost immediately after it ended :) The band is called Dzeltenie Pastnieki or The Yellow Postmen. It’s possible to confuse „pastnieki” with „pastalnieki” or wearers of soft leather sandals, an item of traditional Latvian dress. In those days we always looked for that kind of subtext...

This translation is quite literal, to better reflect the language of the original.

Tev ir ļoti skaistas kājas
Nevar redzēt tavas kājas
Nāc ārā no ūdens
Lai var redzēt tavas kājas
Kreiso kāju labo kāju
Nāc ārā no ūdens
Citādi tas slikti beigsies
Ūdens līdējs ieraudzīs
Ieraudzīs un pielīdīs
Nāc ārā no ūdens
Ūdens līdējs vienmēr lien
Tur, kur skaistas kājas brien
Tur, kur kājas jūrā brien
Nāc ārā no ūdens

You have very pretty legs
Your legs can’t be seen
Come out of the water
So that your legs can be seen
The left leg the right leg
Come out of the water
Otherwise it will end badly
The water crawler will see
Will see and will crawl over
Come out of the water
The water crawler always crawls
There, where pretty legs wade
There, where legs wade in the sea
Come out of the water

Dzeltenie Pastnieki
