Welcome to TAC and HTLAL! Are you using a course or taking classes? If you need help deciding how to start with French, just ask!
If this is your first time doing TAC, I invite you to join Team Français. It's much easier to finish TAC when you have a team supporting you and visiting your log every once in a while.
Bonne chance! :)

Salut, Siskia!
Thank you! I'll be glad to join Team French!
Now I wath "Дмитрий Петров – Французский за 16 часов". Then I plan to use online resources and take lessons from tutors on italki. I really need help on what to begin to learn French, because I am absolutely a newbie!

Welcome to Team Français, Virineya. I hope you have a great year learning!
What online resources are you using? Duolingo and Lingvist are quite popular for starting out (or for a good review).

Welcome Virineya. Assimil is a popular choice for starting it. I'm currently using that for French and Russian.
French in Action and FSI are also popular options. I'd highly recommend Lingvist for building up some
vocabulary as well.

Hi Virineya,
Are you still wanting to learn French/ or doing some French learning now? How are you?
Many of us French team members have continued our French learning on the new alternative
website which was created to improve the reliability of the community's home website. If
you want to join us, go to " how-to-learn-any-language.org " or you can continue here.
Regards,
PM
