1. Who are the best RP male voices who are good to imitate for someone trying to speak in British English?
My friend is learning British English, and he want to practice speaking in RP using techniques like "shadowing" or "echoing". he need transcripts of few hours of speech by a good RP speaker.
Can you name some famous RP speakers whose voices are pleasant to most people and speak clearly, not very fast, and with no idiosyncrasies?
Maybe a famous BBC presenter with a nice RP accent? a good podcast in RP? Remember that there must be transcripts available for the audio, otherwise the voice should be clear without background noises so he can use a machine transcription service like Youtube's Auto Closed Captions.
2. Another friend ask the same thing, but about the best General American (GA) male voices who are good to imitate.

For American English I'd recommend getting an audio book read by James Earl Jones. You cannot beat his voice.

Yes, they are good of course, but I'm asking about the best of them, I mean those who have the most pleasant voices for a wide range of people of different ages, backgrounds, and sex.

Amazing voice, I never heard him before. But this voice is impossible to imitate!
