Zabaan.com is a place I saw recommended elsewhere, and sent an inquiry e-mail to them - they say 'rates
negotiable', but for them, it's 'rates negotiable within our range'. Zabaan looks like a very well-put-together group, offering Hindi and Urdu script & language courses in Delhi (group or one-on-one), using the Richard Delacy & Sudha Joshi "Elementary Hindi" book, the Rupert Snell TY Hindi, and the Primer of Modern Standard Hindi for their various classes. They do online, private, and group lessons. The only problem is probably not such a big one for most folks, but for people like me on a limited budget, it might be. Their "negotiable range" starts at INR1250 and goes to INR850 - which is about USD $20/hour. I'm on a phenomenally limited budget and that's out of my league by orders of magnitude.
