Hi everyone!
My Name is Carsten and i'm from Germany.
Since last week i'm studying Spanish and have been browsing through language learning blogs and boards like a maniac.
At the moment i am mostly doing input-only.
This includes listening to Spanish radio/broadcasts on Itunes, reading Harry Potter 1 (both extensive and intensive), watching Scrubs in Spanish (any other recommended series??) and doing some anki work with a downloaded set of Spanish sentences.
I am still looking for a good program to learn Spanish in German... i'll be heading the city this week in search for a good one. Of course anyone who knows a good German program to learn Spanish can recommend it to me!
I'm looking forward to your responses.
Knuffix

How's the L-R going? I'm planning to start using that method as part of my German studies shortly. I'm hoping
that it helps me with vocabulary (a weak point for me).
I have heard that El Internado is quite interesting, but my DSL connection isn't very good, so I try not to watch
streaming video.
I wish you great success with your Spanish studies!

The telenovia "Aqui no hay quien viva" is great fun, even though I don't understand half of what they are saying.
I am also L-R the first Harry Potter book. I am now on chapter 11 and I feel it really helps.
Good luck with your studies!
