"Poco a poco" looks great. If only some kind native Spanish speaker could provide a recording to accompany it, this would be a simply amazing resource! And as it's published in 1922, I imagine that copyright shouldn't be a problem here either.

Apart from "Lingua Latina" (which is brilliant, incidentally) and "Athenaze" (which I've heard recommended several times), the only other similar thing that comes to mind is a small Russian book I read a while back called "Бедная Аня". I recall it was pleasant and easy to read at the time (i.e. even I could read it :) ), using high-frequency vocabulary repeated in a variety of contexts throughout, and probably also falls under the category of inductive reading. This is just one of many similar short stories in various languages you can order from Blaine Ray's collection of TPR resources.

There is actually a series of courses like Lingua Latina available from a swedish institute, Naturmetodens Språkinstitut. The website is really archaic, though, and it is possible they're not really around anymore. A couple of years ago it took a couple of months to receive a brochure upon request, and I did try to submit the accompanying order form (by snail mail) in March/April, but haven't heard anything in the two months since, though I suppose there is still hope, judging by how long it took to get the brochure. The courses are available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Latin. From what I've heard, the German and Spanish ones are of a lower quality than the rest. I think the courses were made around 1950-1970. They are quite pricey.
