I studied quite a bit of Czech and have just finished lesson 10 and have 1442 ANKI cards now. I seem to become more and more familiar with the language but need to write more. Perhaps I should set it as my goal to write my next entry about my progress in Czech. I started to use Livemocha again which I like when you're beginning to learn a language and need some extra practise with writing and pronunciation. Well, my favourite Czech singer is Lucie Bílá, so here's a link to one of her songs, too:
Lucie Bílá: Doufám
Seems I'll have to add Slovak as a third language to my study list. It doesn't have priority but I really like the textbook and actually started a Slovak ANKI desk which has 146 words now.

I don't want to miss my weekly log entry but I'm working night shifts and so here's just a short update in English.
Spanish
I'm still reading "La Biblia de Barro" and am on page 469 now. No new ANKI cards but I started to use lang-8 and wrote two Spanish entries last week which were both corrected by very helpful native speakers. I'm really pleased with the website.
Czech
I'm working on chapter 11 of my textbook and finished some Livemocha lessons. I'm a bit behind with my ANKI repetitions and have 1563 Czech cards now. Last not least I wrote two entries on lang-8, had them corrected and were actually quite frustrated about the many mistakes I made.
Slovak
I've got 158 ANKI cards now and started to do the Livemocha course for Slovak but didn't really do much because I decided I'd study one week Czech and one week Slovak, so this week will be my first Slovak week.

I'm sorry but I last week I made almost no progress, I'm not even up-to-date with my ANKI reviews. Too much work, too many appointments and telephone calls .... it was a nice week, though :-).

April wasn't my month, I hardly didn't study at all. Hopefully May will be better. Well, here's a tiny update at least.
Spanish
I finished reading "La Biblia de Barro" and am now on page 206 of Isabel Allende's "La isla bajo el mar". I also finished reading the April edition of the ECOS magazine but haven't done the grammar exercise yet and the May edition has already arrived *sigh*. Well, this morning I wrote a letter to my Peruvian penpal, so that was some writing practise at least. ANKI: 1,504 cards and up-to-date with my reviews.
Czech
I finished chapter 11 of my textbook and have started with chapter 12. I also finished Czech 101 on Livemocha and will hopefully start with Czech 102 soon. I appreciate the comments of native speakers on my oral and written submissions. ANKI: 1,601 cards and 359 still need to be reviewed.
Slovak
I've got my own copy of the "Slovenčina" textbook now (had a copy from the library before) and am currently working on chapter 3. I finished unit 4 of Slovak 101 on Livemocha. ANKI: 356 cards and reviews up-to-date.

Si no te molesta, te dejo algunas correcciones:

Thanks a lot for your link (although it seems the same as above, but I was able to find her without too much trouble).
I like it when people associate a language with music ;)
