Week in review - I'm puttering along, very impressed by my co-teammates and everyone else. My log gets pushed to page 2 or 3 rather quickly!!
GERMAN
Wrote a bit this week, but need to increase that.
Lessons and Assimil completed.
Overall a good week, F2F lessons, a dinner, radio and TV and active speaking and writing.
Daily understanding continues to increase.
FRENCH
Completed a few lessons in grammar and wrote a few posts on top of daily use this week. So active work in this language is started.
LADAKHI
Slowly continuing with vocabulary (47 cards)
I've pretty much done a little every day, so the tasks for the week completed.
Cards: 21/47
spent a large part of the day on preparing for the trip and while it wasn't language learning per say, it was motivational stuff for later.
Nothing in the other languages.

Hallo OIgen,
Es gefällt mir, deinen guten Fortschritt dieser Woche zu sehen. Ich habe auch dieses Problem - ich brauche mehr schrieben, aber wenn es nicht über etwas interessanten ist, ich interresiere mich nicht dafür. Vielleicht, wenn du willst, wir könnten einen neuen Thread anfangen, in denen wir einander schreiben könnten. Was meinst du?
Danke,
Rob.

Hallo Rob,
Dies ist eine großartige Idee, können wir eine Französisch und Deutsch Konversation in einem neuen Thread. Ich fände nützlich und angenehm zu lesen und schreiben über etwas Interessantes mit unseren Kameraden.
Ich werde dann einen neuen Thread starten an der richtigen Stelle. Here

GERMAN
Worked with the Intense word list and ended up adding 48 new cards to my list of not knowns, so I think I went through over a hundred words. I'm getting to a better set of words and this is now more worthwhile and enjoyable. About 30-40 good minutes.
Cards: 62/62.
FRENCH
Just read a bedtime story to the girls.
LADAKHI
Building up and reading the next chapter.
Cards: 24/58
Installed ANKI on this machine, if I like it, I'll have something more portable than Mnemosyne.

Anki 28 correct out of 78!
...and a post in the multilingual thread
FRENCH
Light reading.

I won't be posting for several weeks, off to Ladakh to trek and work on my language skills. We'll try to post to my blog to tell a little about our expedition.

Back from my trip and the last weeks have been very busy.
But I am still working on languages with a slight shift in focus.
Week in review
GERMAN
This is my biggest focus. Have started to think in German (yeah!) and am working on this language every day for more than an hour. Using busuu, cards, face to face lessons and every day active immersion.
Daily understanding continues to increase.
FRENCH
Small amounts of active work in this language this week, a little writing. Lots of speaking, especially with children.
LADAKHI
Nothing this week.
Nothing in the other languages.

Update
GERMAN
Continue focus on German with daily work - listening to the radio. ASSIMIL. Lessons and busuu.com. I am disappointed and behind with my cards -- that is clearly not working and i have to figure out how to keep vocabulary better. I have the impression that for 50 learnt I promptly forget 45. Did administrative meetings in German.
FRENCH
Continued work - very little writing this last week, but I am correcting my 8 year-old's French (and German).
LADAKHI
Nothing this week.
Nothing in the other languages.
