I cant read french, If I take the french course to B2, will I be able to read enought

IF you are talking about assimil or a similar program, then I would not study french just to be able to use the
german booklet. On, it will take time and effort, that can be spent learning German, to study french, to an even somewhat manageable level. Two, there is a big difference between acquiring a superficial command of a language, and being able to understand technical vocabulary use, and complex grammatical and syntactic explanations.
