I am seeking advice from those who have used both "Spanish with ease" and "Using Spanish"
My question is, how soon after finishing "with ease" did you begin "using Spanish"?
I notice that, broadly speaking, Assimil users on this forum tend to fall into two camps.
There are those such as fanatic, who advocate doing the course exactly as advised (i.e, 30 min a day) and there are those such as Prof. A and Lucas who talk about working with the book for up to a year, in order to thoroughly internalise its contents.
I am currently on passive lesson 76 of with ease, and am wondering whether to begin a passive wave of Using Spanish while finishing With Ease (I am aware there is no mention of passive and active waves in Using).
Would this be a recomended aproach? Or should I wait until I am completly done with "with ease"?
What are the pros and cons of each aproach?
Advice would be warmly apreciated, and I apologise if there are other threads about this, I couldnt find anything which discussed this topic in depth.

Do what I did with the French Assimil Courses. Pretend that both volumes are one big
book, as in Lesson 1 of Using should continue after the last lesson of With Ease.
Continue to work on the Active wave of With Ease as you begin the Passive Waive of Using.

@ LatinoBoy84
Im leaning towards this idea. I like the look of the more detailed reading practice you get with Using Spanish.
Spanish with Ease has helped native materials seem much more transparent than they did a couple of months ago.
But I really get the feeling that completing With Ease on its own is insufficent for really understanding newspapers, and I want to jump into novels as soon as possible.
Would you agree with this assessment?
How would you rate your French after completing both Assimil volumes?
