Sorry for the thousandth thread on the subject, but seeing as there have been many requests for people's native languages and the like to be added, I thought I would take Jeff_lindqvist's suggestion and make a poll to see how many people would like new languages to be added into the system. Maybe the Administrator could then determine whether or not it would be worth the effort to do so.

If possible, I would propose that only Senior members be able to add new languages (to avoid trolls) and those that aren't, could request for them to be added.

I would be interested in the Administrator's thoughts on this.

Maybe to help with the work, those who nominate a language should write up the description?

What makes you think that now? Most languages that are already in the list don't have a description anyway and the "Collaborative writing" room is full of descriptions that were never added by the administrator for whatever reason.

i think it is actually completely unnecessary adding languages that no one speaks on this forum. people constantly request new languages added, based only on the fact that they are interested in them.

i mean, greenlandic is fine, but how many people actually study it?

There are several people on this forum who speak languages not on the list, like that one guy who speaks Tok Pisin.
