I remember Leserables expressing a wish that Luxembourgish (his native language) was added, and I have seen several posts requesting Taiwanese.

There's already a good thread in the Member's Lounge that lists significant missing languages.
For my part, I nominate the major West African languages: Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo.

Administrator, here's a basic list of the ones that still require addition so far:
Luxembourgish
"Gaelic" on its own can now be deleted and replaced with Irish, since Scottish Gaelic has now been added.
Urdu already exists, joined to Hindi as Hindi/Urdu. So, Hindi should be liberated and made into a language by itself.
Taiwanese and Shanghainese have been requested in the past also.
Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo.
Have I missed anything out?

Thank you!
However, a few amends should still be made for some of these languages. You now have "Hindi/Urdu" and "Urdu". What about just Hindi? I think you should entirely get rid of Hindi/Urdu and just have two separate entries: Hindi and Urdu. Also, You now have "Scottish Gaelic" and "Gaelic". Problem here is "Gaelic" on its own generally refers to Scottish Gaelic, meaning there's no mention of the other one, Irish Gaelic. What you need are two entries: "Scottish Gaelic" and "Irish Gaelic".
Lastly, maybe a bit nitpicky, but perhaps "Sign Language" instead of "ASL", as ASL refers specifically to American Sign Language, and not to a sign language in general. Rather than having a bunch of entries "ASL", "BSL", "Japanese Sign Language" etc, I think it would be better to just have "Sign Language".

Gaelic and Irish might be easier; saves space.

Thanks - I have updated both Gaelics and the ASL, now Sign Language. Let me know if there are any other to change.

I would be more interested in seeing full profiles of more languages. As a speaker of only English, I cannot really help much. But if a native speaker of a few other languages would add a profile, i would be very happy.
A few that I'd like to see:
Polish
Farsi
Hebrew
Hindi/Urdu
Norwegian/Swedish/Danish

I think more language profiles would be a nice addition. I would also like to some of the profiles text formatted, the Slovak Profile is just blobs of text, no formatting.
If the profiles became too large for the sidebar you could always break them down into family groups and allow the individual to select the family and look at the languages.
Maybe there is some way to give others, reputable members only a few, power just to edit the profiles for inaccuracies, formatting, etc.
