It's been a while, but now its time to post a milestone! I finally learned most Hangul characters! |

Please note that Hangul is not completely phonetic; there are some pronunciation changes (the spelling does not change) sometimes when one a certain letter follows another letter.
An example. ㅂ + ㄴ ==> ㅁ
Have a Korean friend/teacher help you with an example such as 감사합나다.
Some textbooks make a point of making you aware of these changes. There is a system, learn the system.

I know there will be different rules when it comes to speech and writing, so I will learn those in time. Right now I only know a handful of Korean words, when i start studying more I'll learn the rules fully.

Your Korean study should probably include www.talktomeinkorean.com. Congrats on learning Hangul, but really
you need to hear the sounds with the letters to know the pronunciation. So check out the above link.

Thanks for the link! (Sorry for the slow response) I fell off the wagon for a while but now I am back on it. Pronunciation is very important so I will focus on that and some basic words.
I also need to keep reviewing Kanji again as well -_-.
