I have to admit, I haven't been studying a lot recently. I'll get back on track now.
No he estudiado Aleman mucho. No puedo entender mucho di Aleman ni Ruso.

Okay, trying to keep switiching from a news article to a dcitionary is evry taxing so I switched back to LingQ, but just for the beginning stage. I am not using it for Spanish though. I need to start my revision for French, am on lesson 4 of the Russian course and have around 500 flashcards for German. I have actually got a Spanish test, my first ever one, coming up soon so I am starting to read travel brochures, as the subject is for holidays. I have also started the "Berlitz Italian in 30 Days."

I've just found this piece of advice:
http://www.alljapaneseallthetime.com/blog/ditch-your-resolut ion-it%E2%80%99s-time-for-a-language-mission
Benny is absolutely right here. Now, I am going to change my goals and here they are:
French: 180 flashcards. I need 300 by Sunday with most of those learned by that time. The subject will mostly be Media.

YAY! I did my French test yesterday and I have to say, it went pretty well. I didn't revise as much as I promised to on this blog but from what I did revise, I managed to improvise during the test and I didn't need my notes. I only got stuck on one questions.
Secondly, I've found a copy of Barry Farber's How to Learn any Language and am implementing that into my learning. He, in essence, says buy an audio course, some native material, some flashcards, a grammar book, a dictionary, and some blank cassettes. I'll expand on why you need these as my learning comes on. The cassettes can obviously be some other way to record yourself. I'm using my iPod touch 4g. This method I believe will really help me and with the internet, it should be even easier to use.
Thirdly, I'd encourage you all to use Lang-8. It is a fantastic tool for learning.
Finally, I've changed my mind for the last time and I am going to stay away from LingQ. To help me do this, I am going to delete my account. There are far more efficient ways I can learn.

I know I have kept going on about flashcards but I have deleted them all and am starting again. This is because of the method I am using. It has entirely changed. As I said, I am no longer using LingQ as I wasn't leaarning from it. Wth Spanish and Russian, I am using frequency lists and also news articles. French, Italian and German I am about to start now.
What I am doing is copying entire news articles into Microsoft Word and then highlighting all the words in the first paragraph I am not sure of. I then look them up on wordreference and make flashcards for them. I do the same with the next few paragraphs . I know it is similar to LingQ but it is more effective as I am learning and finding things out myself from context, instead of randomly clicking some blue highlighted words.
I have got a few other things I am doing which I will explain later.

Ich habe nicht LingQ oder Lang8 ausprobiert.Ich habe gewundert, ob sie lohnenswert waren.
Vielleicht werde ich sie nicht benutzen.
