Ich believe, s/he wants to say, that you may say "Ich bin im Wald gestanden", but only "Ich habe die Wahrheit gestanden".

No, I speak Bavarian and write standard normalized Hochdeutsch (with light dialectal influence, for sure, maybe a little bit like Hoelderlin, or Goethe, ahem ... their dialectisms are noticable, otherwise they have little in common, with me ...). There are many videos on youtube with Bavarian/Austrian speakers, but I am too lazy to look for something now, maybe later more.
My main point was, that "conversational German" may be a rather forced construction, at least for native dialect speakers, so it is very difficult to give definite answers what features it has or does not have.

Nope, Doitsujin is correct, I got confused myself. I don't even use those forms myself, so it's a bit of a mystery.

Thank you for the addition. I would even think that most/all dialect speakers use such a two step (at least) model of upward climbing (well, or downgrading, from the dialect speakers point of view ...), but this is pure (uneducated) guessing, so I just think it and don't say it.

For Kuki:
The man in this youtube video speaks a dialect very similar to mine. A public performance is rarely authentic, and he makes some concessions (in order to be understood) and uses words like "amortisieren", but on the other hand it is very close to real life, so enjoy ;-)
