Ok, so I'm trying to learn Spanish and I'm sort of hoping to drag my family into this as well. I have three kids (11, 9 & 5) who will eventually have to do Spanish in school and I thought I'd give them a flying start by getting familiar with the language as a family.
So far we've had good fun just learning very basic vocabulary like words for food and what have you but I would love to learn some phrases as well. When I look for phrases in books and online I find things you use while on holiday. What I am interested in is proper Mum-stuff, like:
"What would you like for for breakfast/lunch/dinner?"
"Wash your hands!"
"Don't hit your brother!"
"Take your shoes off!"
"Be quiet!"
"It's bedtime."
"Brush your teeth!"
"For the love of god be quiet! Mummy's getting a headache." :-)
I would be very grateful for any help and suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks :)

Maybe I should throw in some alternative answers as well?
"I'm not hungry"
"My hands are clean."
"But he started it!"
"I'm not tired!"
"I brushed my teeth last night. Why do I have to do it again?"
"It wasn't me!"
