A list of the most frequent/useful words (approximately 2000 words) in spoken Swedish, with example sentences for each word, can be found here:

It would be perfect if it had the translations to English, but still great.

That was my first reaction as well. I have downloaded it and it is now part of my Swedish tools.

I could translate them for you if you give me some time - although I really do wonder if beige really is one of the 2000 most used/useful words!

I have - two friends once had beige Volvos. They worked together and even played in the same band. And nowadays another friend has one. :)
