I have been thinking of buying "Complete Arabic with Two Audio CDs : A Teach Yourself Guide"
by Jack Smart, Frances Altorfer.
Is this the best material on market for Arabic?

Have you been to your local library? My library has many different Arabic titles and you can have a chance to 'try before you buy'.
I don't think I've used the one to which you refer so can't offer you any assistance that way I'm afraid. I do know that I've been impressed with the Michel Thomas CDs.

I have the Complete Arabic course. I just love it - get it. Surely there are more sophisticated materials for Arabic, but if you're a beginner, it's better to start with this Teach Yourself book.
