Is anyone reading books in Afrikaans? If so, where can you get them? It doesn't look like
Dutch bookstores have any (checked selexyz.nl and bol.com). Do you know of any stores,
preferably in Europe, that have them? Short of that, has anyone used a South African web
store that ships internationally?

Grant and Cutler, based in London, have a very small selection of books. I have found them reliable in the past for delivering.

I've bought quite a few Afrikaans books at Grant and Cutler and they always have a few André Brink, Harry Potter and Tintin when I go in. I recently also got Ons is nie almal so nie by Jeanne Goosen and an Antjie Krog book on San poetry in Afrikaans.

I've bought books and CDs from kalahari.net and I've always been happy with their service. It's worth ordering quite a few because the postage is expensive and there's not much difference in price in their sending one book or a couple of books.
