I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Here we like to say we have four seasons: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction. :P But seriously, I'm probably not as good at studying during the summer, because Winnipeg has beautiful summers and I like to go outside. Most of my studying is done at my computer, and even with a laptop that's not all that compatible with outside. In the winter I'm inside as much as humanly possible (I hate the cold), so studying is easier to fit in to my schedule. On the other hand, if it gets so cold that I have to cocoon myself in blankets, that makes it harder to use the computer, and I tend to accidentally fall asleep. So that's not that productive either.

I have the advantage in the Summer that I find it easier to get out of bed and make a start, due to the light coming through the window, but, conversely, in the evenings I think I work better when it gets dark early - I think because you lose track of time easier!

Maybe I just need to change all my clocks to work to my own time....

For me, it really makes no difference: I enjoy sitting outside with my language book in the summer but I also enjoy studying during the winter months besides the Christmas tree... :-)

The only bad thing about the summer (oh gosh am I really saying this?) is that there always seem to be so many other interesting things to do! So in terms of quantity of work, I get more done during the winter.

Yea there is more distractions in Summer and unfortunately nice weather makes me much lazier when it comes to studying in general.
