My friend Jaime said my Spanish sounds just like a computer voice. I take that as a good compliment, but what about everyone else?

If you told Jaime his English sounds like a computer voice, would it be a compliment?

Computer voices sound pretty bad. I wouldn't take it as a compliment.

Haha... I had my friend say the same thing to me, but I didn't take it as a compliment... I actually started to
pronounce things with a little more flair instead of trying to make my words "perfect". :)

Personally, I think it's helped me to listen to a lot of materials outside of my 'audio' course...which does sound like a
computer voice!

I have to agree with the others, computer voices sound unnatural so it was not a compliment.

(Along with other celebreties) You can get John Cleese's voice for the Sat Nav, so computer voices can be funny...

It depends. If you are a computer, yes.

I think my problem is that I listen to language tapes too much.
