Remind me to send you some pictures from my garden. No dolphins or fountains or lakes, but the cherry trees, the magnolia and the tulips are in bloom now, the lilacs are coming out in a couple of weeks, and in the beginning of July there will be more than 300 rosebushes in bloom, most of them scented.
Of all of us I think you made the best choice, Kuikentje. The only thing is that I am afraid you would need more money than that for your project :-).

That is beautiful and bound to provide much greater inspiration than a couple of days or weeks sampling foreign sidewalks, restaurants and room interiors.

You lucky dog. How's that Gross National Happiness thing working out? |

You are well informed!
My wife and I actually went to the King's birthday party, and joined in all the
celebrations. A large part of this was the celebration of national happiness.
If you are interested, here are some of my photos: Splog in

If I had $10,000, and had to spend it all on language learning?
I'd learn Spanglish! ;-D
I'd hire a hire a couple of ex-SEALS with uzis as bodyguards, and hang out in tough bars in downtown Miami.
Fun, fun, fun...

$10,000? Why that is the exact amount I plan to save up for after paying off my loan to move to Germany! So that would be the short answer: Buy a one-way ticket, move to Germany, live off that until I find a suitable income.
I am sure I can come up with a much more imaginative answer than that though.
