Thanks Iversen, you are of course correct.
Although the Wikipedia entry sounds like good clear English to me, I guess I would normally say something more like "some types of sandstone...", but that obviously is just a personal (regional?) style thing.

Yeah, Iversen is correct as usual. I knew about that difference, I am just used to saying "two sandstones" instead of "two pieces of sandstone", which is a mistake like lots of other things one may get used to. It reminded me of the two fish plural. Fishes is used only when referring to more species of fish, unless you are Gollum, than you are allowed some grammar wiggleroom.

Just FYI, you can use SRS on your phone (if you have a smart phone).
The only hard part is putting the words in on the computer (with an app synced on your
phone), but it's worth it once you do it.

Flashcards Deluxe has direct input into phone. You can use a bluetooth KB (or a KB with a
cable if you prefer to avoid bluetooth) or tap in your entries but that's way too slow.
Prob the issue is here that you're still sitting and typing, but it's certainly more
portable than a laptop/PC

There are many free mobile apps using flash cards technique
Personally I like this one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aiva.Langy
because there is no fixed collections of easy cards.
Basically you learn only what you want to learn..

Didn't you create it yourself though? Please don't make even more posts about it.

For some reason, the 'different variety' plural annoys me no end when it is used for
marketing speak. As in 'A good selection of coffees and teas'. I don't drink tea, but
I would expect to be offered either the choice of beans - Rombusta, Arabica or maybe
coffee made with beans from Kenya, Brazil, Ethiopa or Java.
But no, it is just marketing speak for offering me the same coffee with different
variations of milk (which I also don't drink) in it.
OK rant over.

A particularly interesting thread, so I will give it a bump.
