The best way is to have your lover from another country, so you can gain, both, of course, if you are interested in languages.

Not to rain on your parade, but have you forgotten aboout the tiny little detail concerning the physical requirements demanded of men who hold that position. Are you really sure you want to sign up for that? :-)

My wife, my kids and my job all interfere with my language learning.

But somehow, being single, having no kids and no job just doesn't seem like a dream situation for me, personally.

Yes! Three days my language, three days yours, and Sunday a third language. Kids would gain a lot!

I don't understand your comment. I don't see how it is "daring" to describe truthfully my
situation at home and how it frees up time for more language study. I am not pushing an
opinion, just describing some facts.

Yes you're right - in the old days they were supposed to be castrated, weren't they? Eeek! :-0

But I'm sure that King Iversen wouldn't take quite such a hard line approach in this regard..! ;-)
