Are there any sites which have fundamental vocabulary listed into semantic categories?

If there were such categorized vocabulary acquisition sites absorbing vocabulary would be much more balanced.

For example if there were semantically grouped vocabulary categories like,

Verbs of body motion:

Walk, stroll
Run, jog, sprint
Crawl
Duck
Shimmy
Turn, Role, Spin
Stretch
etc...

Verbs of destruction:

Break
Destroy
Smash, Smash up, Smash in
Split, Snap
Anihilate
Obliverate
Pulverize
Eradicate, Stamp out
Ransack, Lay waste to
etc...

Verbs of communication and expression:

Speak, Articulate, Verbalize
Talk, Chat
Say, Tell
Blabber on
Converse
Communicate
Express
Debate
Discuss
Deliberate
etc...

Verbs of thought:

Think
Consider
Believe
Opinate
Suppose
Assume
Presume
Guess
Speculate

(sub section: verbs of creative thought)

Think up
Come up with
Imagine
etc...

Verbs of cooking:

Cook, Make food
Bake
Fry
Grill
Roast
Suate
ect...

Verbs of adhorance and displeasure:

Dislike
Hate
Dispise
Detest
Abhor
etc...

Verbs of sight:

See
Look
Check out
Catch sight of
Stare
Fixate
Gaze
Glare
Inspect
Examine
Observe
Witness, Bear witness to
Testify
etc...

Verbs of love and adoration:

Like
Love
Adore
etc...

Verbs of attack:

Strike
Punch, Jab, Prod
Kick, Boot
Choke, Strangle, Asfixiate
Crank, Twist
Headbutt, Nut
Throw, Takedown, Sweep, Slam
Mount, Pin, Control
etc...

Verbs of compensation:

Give back, Pay back
Make up for
Compensate
Atone
Redeem
etc...

Verbs of help:

Help, Lend a hand
Assist
Save
Rescue
Salvage
etc...

If such organized categorized vocabulary learning methods exsisted it would accelarate language learning significantly.

Do any such sites exist? I specifically want ones for the foreign languages I am learning, but even one in English would be decent because we could apply it as a template to other languages and make our own.

I am sorry for the long post. I hope someone can see my point.

Is this the sort of site you mean? It has lists of thematic vocabulary for several languages. I linked to the Turkish page since you are studying Turkish.

In case it is helpful for others in looking for other language equivalents to your list
above, I am taking the liberty of correcting some of your spelling:

"role" should be "roll"

"anihilate" should be "annihilate"

"obliverate" should be "obliterate"

"opinate" - not sure, this does not appear to be English?

"suate" should be "sauté"

"adhorance" should be "abhorrence"

"dispise" should be "despise"

"asfixiate" should be "asphyxiate"

Although in the text of your message rather than your word list, "accelarate" should be
"accelerate".

OK, we get that you are obviously so smart!

Anyway thanks for correcting the mispellings.

Since spending so much time abroad and so little time using English, my spelling has really deteriorated.

Some people may look down on me for my poor spelling and think of me as stupid.

But I dont care! I am a master of Kanji! Not to show off but I have a greater knowledge of Kanji than most of the Japanese themselves.

So people who think I am stupid because of my spelling, you just got served because I can reproduce with easy thousands of characters!

Forgive my brief display of arrogance.

My spelling will soon improve as I get back into the routine of the English speaking world.

You probably think everyone is stupid who doesnt agree with your philosophy and ideals.

No. From the way you reacted to the other posts, I rather think that yet another Aspie has joined the forum.

Malakhim, you will fare better on this forum (and in life) if you do not take personal offense when someone points
out mistakes that you may be making.
We are here to help and support each other, and part of that can include correcting others' mistakes. Please realize
that there are many non-native speakers of English on this forum who appreciate having mistakes in English
corrected, so that they themselves don't inadvertently learn misspellings. It's not all about you.
