Hello everyone,

Not rely a question but I thought I would post here to see if there's anyone out there.

Just had a bit of luck today. Bought a copy of Le Polonais sans peine by Assimil in a bookshop sale of damaged stock for half price. Book and CD's are perfect.

Now all I have to do is learn French!

Regards

Hi everyone,

Anyone have any tips or advice about how to cope with the Polish case system. I think I have the instrumental sussed, but now I'm starting on the accusative, I'm finding it difficult to remember the word endings.

Well, not only you have some problems with Polish grammar. Currently I attend postgraduate studies for translators and we have some "Polish Stylistics" classes there. It may sound funny, but none of the 25 students in my group (most of us are philologists and of course we all are Masters of Arts and Polish native speakers) could decline some of the more difficult Polish numerals properly! Finally our lecturer told us "we must check in the dictionary, there is no way we can work it out".

So, Polish seems to be quite a difficult language, don't worry if you make a few mistakes every now and then ;-)
