You mentioned the following in a previous post with regards to Assimil:

Using French just arrived, which I purchased based on your positive comments, and I've gotten myself up to speed with iTunes and Audacity with regards to converting files, deleting gaps, etc.
Do you delete any of the target language or just the gaps? There are introductions and exercises in addition to the dialog. Leaving those in doesn't really give a continuous narrative but I do see some possible benefit in shadowing those.

Mr. de Villaine,
I always left all the target language. Repeating the words for "lesson" and "exercise" provides helpful orientation as to where you are. By "continuous narrative" I only meant straight target language, not necessarily constant content.
