Aprendo palabras españolas leyendo los idiomas. A veces yo utilizo un foro alemán/ español. Mis favoritos:

ein paar mehr habe ich gefunden. Für das Spanische bin ich mir allerdings nicht so sicher ;)

das ist leichter gesagt, als getan -- del dicho al hecho es un gran trecho -- easier said than done = (in Italian) più facile a dirsi che a farsi.

EDIT: Velleicht gibt es für Manches kein deutsches Version, aber egal. A buen hambre no hay pan duro. TR: For good hunger there is no hard bread. ENG: Anything tastes good when you're hungry. I think we need to remember that English is spoken across the world and that there are a lot of things which an Englishman might say but an American wouldn't, a South African would but an Australian wouldn't and so on. It's therefore rather hasty to state that a particular expression isn't well known. Regarding "You snooze, you lose" I would say that it is actually quite a popular expression. Some people disagree with the idea behind it though: You snooze, you lose? Not true! 1 person has voted this message useful |
