Hey, if anyone would like to chat informally and help me practice low-level Italian.
I am also on skype as well should anyone like to use that.
I'm English, so can help you with that in return - even though I guess it is the most common language on these forums.
Looking forward to hearing from you. :D
Buongiorno, se chiunque vuoi cosa parlare l'italiano semplice, entrare in contatto con me

Ti faccio alcune correzioni, spero non ti dispiaccia
I'll correct some mistakes you made, hope you don't mind

You should have used the subjunctive, given that this is a conditional sentence. I don't know why you wrote
"cosa", but it has no meaning in this context
Ho anche Skype
Adverbs usually go before complements
Sono inglese, ti posso aiutare con l'inglese se vuoi
"Ti aiuto" is very informal, it is better to use the auxiliary verb "potere"

Thanks for your reply! :)
I've just started learning it last September at one class a week so I'm not very good! haha
I only know the present tense (ish) and I got the rest of that translation from a dictionary/translator. But I really enjoy the language and find it easy to learn words, but am worse at putting it together. With my background in Latin and French, that also helps. I watch some TV in Italian, but at this stage it's mostly noise and I pick up the odd word.
Do you have MSN? Would you like to chat to me online? :)
molte grazie!

You can also visit the #learnanylanguage IRC channel on freenode. Sometimes me and some others converse in Italian there, though Swedish (!) seems to be the most spoken after English.
EDIT: Also one Hungarian at least is often there, and students of Hungarian and Latin.

Thanks for your reply, I'll have a look.
Hopefully my Italian isn't too baby compared to the other people there!
I've given up with Hungarian tbh, it was fun to play with it, but it's much more complicated than anything I've done before. Maybe I will return to it if I can prove to myself I can learn a 'simple' language.
I would really like a one-to-one conversation with someone though if possible. :)
