Last week in chemistry class I realized I was unintentionally writing notes that were a mix of Afrikaans and English. Everything was fine until I panicked when I couldn't remember a word. After 5 minutes I stop worrying; the word I forgot was probably very advanced vocabulary in either language and most people would forget such an uncommon word. But when I came home and was rereading my lecture notes I remembered that the word I was searching for was "wetenskap" (science). Wetenskap is not exactly advanced vocabulary.
