Okay, so maybe not starve. I'm sitting here at work, and I'd really like a cookie. But I'm supposed to be tracking calories that I eat in a given week. Anyway, I'm trying not to eat anything that I don't have nutrition info for.
Well, one of my coworkers has family in Croatia, who send him these cookies, because he likes them, and he always gets an extra package for me. And I can't read the package. Oh, and I accidentally ripped off part of the nutrition information anyway. I've checked websites, and they're all in a language that I don't know how to read. So, here's the deal. I'm asking anyone who speaks... um... I'm not sure what language the package is in... if they can find out how many calories in one of these cookies. They are called Griesson Duo Keks. According to this site http://www.kalorientabelle.org, I see the following:
Griesson Duo Keks Kakao (De Beukelaer) have 480 Cal (kcal) per 100 g Griesson Duo Keks Vanille (De Beukelaer) have 484 Cal (kcal) per 100 g. From what I have seen, these are sold in packages of 500 g. How many cookies come in a package? From there you can figure out what the mass and calorific content of each cookie is. Griesson-de Beukelaer is a company based in western Germany and is the manufacturer of several types/brands of popular cookies in Europe. 1 person has voted this message useful | |
