You just translate the whole thing :-) |

Free translation/explanation: a friend of mine uses the nickname журавушка for me (it's
a diminutive of "crane bird"). My teacher commented on it saying that it is way too
sugary sweet for men, but it's a nickname I got and according to several other people I
spoke to, they think it sounds funny/cute so I decided to keep it as a nickname.
(Actually, the crane bird reference is to me usually getting up early, but she didn't
want to call me жаровонок, which is the normal word for early birds. But she gave me
that nickname instead, in response to me giving her the nickname совушка (from сова
"owl"). which is a reference to her not sleeping at night).
In short, I have weird interactions on the internet. Entirely in Russian of course.

Today was very productive in terms of languages - I studied Korean, Portuguese and Hebrew
today, two of them through structured materials and one through extensive activities.
Although I mostly just spoke Korean for half an hour.
I have also set a new record and read a whole chapter of HP today. In Hebrew. Hell...
might actually learn Hebrew properly someday.
The rest of the day was spent at work or listening to Tomahawk (because Mike Patton
rules). And I worked up the courage to listen to "Walking in the Air", the Nightwish
version, and laugh at Tarja's pronunciation of /v/ as /w/ (that is a Dutch /w/).
The willages go by like dreeeems...

I hope not.
But if it was Nightwish-related, might have been Anette anyways.
I can barely to listen to Nightwish anyways (has some serious emotions going on) so I was
amazed I could listen to it.

Under
