They sure will. Not done too much, except trying to catch up with the Assimil Active Wave
lessons I missed. Still have to do today's, but I'll get there no problem.

Also made this little video.
It's my attempt to show off my language levels in each of my known languages or
TL's.

Why don't you pronounce soft L in Russian, while you do it in other languages? All your
soft Ls are hard. Я начал (не начинал) изучать русский язык... наверно( не навьерно)...
интересные (не интэрэсные)...Then the sentence is not organized, it should be для меня
(мне) очень важно понимать разных людей и разные культуры (better других людей и другие
культуры) больше проблем, not проблемы,... говоРить, граммаТикой - the sounds must be
soft. Язык (не язикь), произношением (не произнощением) У меня больше проблем с
грамматикой. с произношением, построением фраз (это часть грамматики).
Ч must be soft, yours is too hard, you replace ы with и, Щ is not soft enoegh either
although it was close to the correct one here. Ш, Ж must be certainly harder.

I don't even know what soft means in this context.

Palatalized. It would be good appromaximation if you pronounce your French L instead of
Russian soft L.

Yeah, but for all the other sounds it doesn't make any sense either.

This is what I would call a typical example of Russian directness. If I were to make this comment, I would have started praising all the good things, and then mentioned that there were a few tinsy winsy things that might be improved :-)

Tarvos is a big boy, and I am sure he can handle it, but I think I would have been a little hurt to get this feed back. We are very lucky to have a native speaker to correct our Russian, but whenever the day comes that I dare to plunge and say something in Russian, please be gentle with me, Mark, or I may be scared away forever :-)

Why? other consonants must be pronounced with the middle of the tongue raised to the
roof of the mouth.
